WHAT ARE EXOSOMES AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
Millions of tiny protein packets of molecular mail are charging through your blood stream right now. These vesicle packets known as Exosomes are released from Stem Cells and until recently, only a small group of researchers gave them any notice. Today there is a research explosion in the use of high doses of Exosomes for the treatment of systemic diseases.
The molecular information in Exosomes are known as growth factor/cytokines that perform cell-to-cell communication. Isolating the beneficial signals given out by exosomes and using them, is the next generation of stem cell therapy. Other cells will react to these messaging signals and will change their behavior accordingly. Changing cell behavior to create new tissue and blood flow is how we are now able to treat some of the most debilitating chronic diseases we face today. By injecting exosomes into the scalp of our patient, billions of mRNA communication packets, we are effectively creating a fiber optic communication system that leads to long term hair regeneration.
EXOSOME HAIR LOSS TREATMENT PROCEDURE
Dr. Stephen Holt MD will first numb the patient with a lidocaine cream or a “ring block”. He then gently injects ExoFlo, containing billions of exosomes, into the superficial dermis (skin) of the patient’s scalp. We work with Direct Biologics, an FDA-approved stem cell provider. Every sample we receive is microbiology tested and registered with the FDA, Tissue Bank and NIH & FWA.
In order to help the cells migrate to the precise follicles in need of them, Dr. Holt will also inject Platelet Lysate into the treatment area. While some mild soreness may persist for about a week following treatment, our Denver patients are able to return to their normal daily routine as soon as a day after their Exosome Hair Loss Treatment.
